I want to be sure to clarify one important thing, signing up for the course does not mean that you are my patient. I am of course, not able to prescribe medication to people who enroll in the course and can only (by law) prescribe medication to people who are my patients.

Who is this course for?Who is thyroid empowered for? It’s for anyone and everyone struggling with fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, or dry skin, hair loss, low libido, and all the other thyroid symptoms that plague millions of people.
It’s for anyone who’s gone to their doctor in hopes of getting a diagnosis or being told that their numbers are off only to be informed that everything looks normal, and this isn’t the driving force of their symptoms. All the while it actually is. It’s simply the inadequacies of our medical diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disorders that are allowing millions of people to needlessly suffer. It’s for anyone trying to navigate the mysterious and complex world of thyroid on their own and feels lost and confused. This is everyone from Hashimoto’s, to plain old hypothyroidism, to people post thyroidectomy and even people with a history of thyroid cancer!
Who is not a good fit for Thyroid Empowered?
It’s not for people with Grave’s disease or active HYPERthyroidism. You can expect another course on that launching soon! Though if you are post thyroidectomy or RAI treatment for Graves, this course is perfect for you!
What will you get out of Thyroid Empowered?
You’ll be taken on a journey from start to finish and leave with an understanding of what you can do for your Hashimoto’s, how are you can start to reduce your antibodies and work to reverse your autoimmune condition. You’ll be taken through a journey on how your thyroid works, how to get clear thyroid labs that will help direct your plan during the course but also for decades to come. you’ll analyze your particular labs together so that you can have an understanding for your unique bio chemistry what is going on and the best way to fix it. You’ll have an advocate that can help you navigate the best way to discuss your plan with your doctor on how to get your life back. You’ll be connected with the same resources that people at Modern Thyroid Clinic have access to.
You’ll have a couple group calls with McCall to ask questions about anything thyroid related and also have the opportunity to discuss your lab results with her (note this is a group call so just be sure you’re comfy with that). Group calls have been so amazing to participate in, they are empowering, educating and build so much community. I so often get asked if I can do consults on people’s labs, and this is the perfect way to get a consult plus so much more! What isn’t included in the course?
The course doesn’t include labs. I’m so excited about the lab portion of the course. You can absolutely skip the part about getting labs if you’d like but I also have some great options for making that happen that is easy, convenient and very very cost effective. I will give you the exact labs to ask your doctor for. Many doctors refuse to order a full lab panel and in that case, I will connect you with a deeply discounted lab panel place that we use for Modern Thyroid Clinic patients who don’t use insurance for labs.
The course also doesn’t include medical treatment aka medication prescribing (of course).
